For those who are familiar with Blogger's new (well, it's not SO new now) template works, well, good for you. This new template is simpler to adjust and easier to maintain.

I will be retiring from this team soon, so someone in the cell group will have to take over the reins of redesigning. (This sounds cliche...I remember saying this before, no?) Now that the design is simpler with all the help that Blogger is giving you, it'll definitely be easier. Just need MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop or even GIMP!

LOUD! 2008

Hey peeps, LOUD! 2008 is coming up! =)

You were given the cute tiny flyers. Remember to write friends name and note inside (so that is would be more personal..) and pass it to them ASAP! If you've not gotten the cute tiny flyers, please ask Sara Pang for them cos she has tons of them. =P

Ok.. I also need all of YOU to do this for me... I need your oikos/friends names. Basically, think of who you want to call/invite/bug/force?(hehe..) to come for LOUD! 2008. Please email me (onglingai@yahoo.com) & Ben (ben.siew@gmail.com) the names of your oikos/friends. Also include their email address & hp numbers. You are not limited to the number of friends you can invite so just feel free to email me 100 names if you want. But just make sure the 100 names are also complete with their email add & hp number. ;)

I need this info latest by this Thurs (18/09/08), midnight. So you have exactly 3 full days to do this. You know your friends, you should have their contacts so I know this won't be so difficult for you. However, if you have not invited them but do want to, just include their names in too ya. =)

Last but not least, let's start praying hard!! I know the barrier of exams are already surfacing. But with God, nothing is impossible, amen? So if you want to see your friends have a great, fun & exciting time in LOUD! 2008, let's start praying for open doors, for opportunities, for favor from parents, for boldness & the right words to say to them. You guys are the best, so I know you all can do it!! =)

Therefore, I will start changing the layout from 31st January onwards...hopefully it will be done before Chinese New Year which falls on the 7th of February 2008!

Web Design

Dearest XYZ DJians,

It's been long since I've leave something here.

Hopefully by end of my this current semester (somewhere in mid-January), I will upgrade this blog to the new XML template that Blogger now uses. This will allow better and easier layout customization...

And of course there will be that oh so new design coming up!

But of course, if you can, take lots of good pictures about the cell group and then send it to me @ djcellgroup (at) gmail (dot) com.

And if you want to throw in some design ideas...

Ok everyone... I know you're very excited about this blog... And I know you love to contribute. However, ALL of you must LISTEN+OBEY some of the things pre-set by the admin of this blog. So just in case you don't know, please listen up!

I'm opening the interview also to anyone who wants to maintain the site, maintain the email, maintain the design (a.k.a create new graphical layout every year), maintain the posts, maintain the cbox...

Leave your name and comments IN the comments box. I won't have you leaving your suggestions at the tagboard. Or else! I shall banned your IP address from ever leaving a message at cbox! MUAHAHHAHA...

One more note:

Don't spam the Cbox. And please leave your name unless it's an universal nickname everyone knows you by. So, unless you are really Spiderman with real web slinging skills or people really do call you Spiderman, then...you should put your name down. Not full name of course. Duh. This is not for me cause I really read your entries and I do read.."who's cicakman?" and all that. It's for the good of all.

And so, Sunshine is Christine. In case you didn't know that.

And of course, when I say don't spam the cbox...I also meant don't curse in the cbox. If you are angry fine, but colorful languages will be prohibited...and I might just ban you yet.

Welcome to the NEW SMKDJ CELL GROUP website! It's definitely nicer than the old green one right? Thanks to Photoshop and my own website. Teehee...

Admin Update v2.0

Now and then you will get this admin update thing from me.

Firstly, since yours truly is having exams, it would be quite a couple of weeks before I will implement some changes here in our humble blog...

The changes will be:
Smaller background image, bigger place to blog, so you can up YouTube and not let it overflow, and nicer formatting. All these you will see to effect before 1st January 2007. I promise you people. Nice way to start the year eh?

Anyway, for those who have blogs, please switch to beta version if you can switch to beta version. On my side, I can already switch to beta version, but currently this DJ Admin is still unable to switch yet. But those who can switch please switch.

Once you switch, for those who are blogging fervently on this blog, please label your posts under these categories:

• Articles
- which will be all the articles you would like to share.

• Upcoming
- which will be where all the announcements, upcoming events and all that jazz are.

• Testimonies
- post-events testimonies or personal testimonies. Anything goes as long it fits the description.

Admin Update

Hey peeps.

Soon, Blogger will be able to be transferred to Blogger Beta so we will have labels! And we can sort all our posts according to categories, so it's pretty cool...

so when it goes into beta version, please take note of the next admin update.

i have already place haloscan comments back. (good thing i didn't delete the account there.) so do feel free to comment if you think that the tag board is getting tad bit too "not-enough-space". Feel free yeah, if not I will take the comments away again.

to avoid having too many articles clashing with announcements...i tell you what. ppl doing announcement, go and have a go with colors. hey, i give you a white background. you can do anything u like with a white background. and u know what? i put in a previous post thingie, so those who think there isn't any announcements, may find themselves tricked by articles. then again, there's this thing call scrolling. but previous post will do.

Back Up...In Green

Yes, it might not be as fancy and dandy as the one before. The graphics could be quite plain and everything is in GREEN?!

But hey, I spent almost 5 hours on this. Cause I'm slow, yes yes.

No, I'm not asking you to treat me for dinner or whatever.

I took out the comment box because nobody comments anyway. Everything is done in the tagboard itself. There's a few things I need to do with the tag board but I got other stuff to do, so will come back..

And really, you never know, but we might just have a flash site. But that one have to wait until you people get your own domain and web hosting eh and somebody to learn all the scripting languages such as PHP, ASP, JSP, JS eh?

So please feel free to continue to post post post...yes, I know some of you like pink very much, but I like green this season around. Soothing to the eyes.

When I am more HTML+CSS+JavaScript competent, I will be back with something more than just green and whatever. Maybe we'll have frames and flash frames...or have more boxes around...
