Talent time! =D

Hey hey! Here's the update for talent time!

Our story is about Daniel in the Lions Den in Reality tv form. As you know we've combine with CHS. We now have 7 minutes for our skit (: Our practice will be this Sat (6/12/08) at 11 am. Don't be late! remember we only have that sat to prac before camp! And talent time is on the first day (or so they say)

So here is the storyline + roles you guys need to act out :-

INTRO
- Introduction of characters using america's next top model

SCENE 1
- Recap (previously on Daniel tv....)

• advisors of the kind complain about daniel
• Daniel got in wrong book
• people go to the king
• set the decree
• king writes the decree

What will happen to Daniel next?

SCENE 2

(human people will show morning + moving sky)

• Daniel finds out about decree
• face window and prays 3x a day
• got caught
• advisors complain to the king
• throws Daniel into Lions den

SCENE 3

• Daniel in the den with lion
• (in the den) So you think you can dance competition against Dancing Lion and Daniel
• meanwhile in the king's palace...

SCENE 4

• King finds out Daniel is alive (Song: survivor by Destiny's Child will play)
• king brings advisors to board room (like apprentice) and fires them (donald trump: You're fired! =D )
• king order's citizens to worship God (*hallelujah! hehehehe)

This Saturday we;re doing radical church history. It's the last session! (We did a previous one before this for those of you who don't know what it is. It's not boring (: really )

A reminder that we're meeting at 12pm at EHOP room to discuss the talent time thing. (actually I didn't even know we were supposed to meet at 12...o.O) Anyway, see you guys there! (:

04/12: Communication Theory (8am-10am) & Communication Laws & Ethics (12pm-2pm)

These few subjects are very tough subjects, especially the ones on thursday.. And they both have to be on the same day!! >.< There's a lot to read, understand, memorize.. So would really appreciate lots of prayers :) Thanks!

As I've mentioned last weekend, we're combining with CHS cg for talent time. We'll be meeting at 12pm this Sat (28/11) for discussion and practice. We don't have much time so please be there and come contributing ideas ya. If you need transport let me know early. It's gonna be fun and we'll make sure we'll win this year's talent time ;)

As per discussed last Sat, here are the details for our cg christmas bbq/pool party.. :)

Date: 20th Dec 08 (Sat)
Time: 5pm onwards..
Venue: Jeremy's hse, Kiara park condo TTDI (TBC)

3. OUTING! this sat. Lunch+ movie (Madagascar 2) Most probably in the curve. Confirm attendence by Thurs night. (Jia yi/Jeremy weeeee)

Take note!

1. 22nd of November is our cg outing! what do you guys wanna do?
2. Next sunday there is a worship concert with Glenn Packiam and the Desperartion Band from New Life church from 8-1opm. Let's go as a cg since everyone is on hols! :)
3. Christine needs to know in DBS, who has finished what and until whem?
4. 11-14 December is our camp! Early bird special starts next weekend. RM180. So bring ur money n friends nxt weekend b4 early bird ends! :D

Sorry for the template delays.

For those who are familiar with Blogger's new (well, it's not SO new now) template works, well, good for you. This new template is simpler to adjust and easier to maintain.

I will be retiring from this team soon, so someone in the cell group will have to take over the reins of redesigning. (This sounds cliche...I remember saying this before, no?) Now that the design is simpler with all the help that Blogger is giving you, it'll definitely be easier. Just need MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop or even GIMP!
