FCS 2!

For FCS 2, the guys will be doing something sporty (Jeremy Wee in charge) and the girls will be doing something girly like baking! :) Then we'll all meet up for lunch somewhere nearby..

Please remember to invite your friends, especially those who came for FCS 1. If they cant make it for the sports or baking event, get them to join us for lunch.

Sleepover is confirm on, and it would be held in Bangsar (my grandparents home which is currently vacant). We'll have the entire house to ourselves. I'll bring projector, laptop and speakers in case you guys wanna catch a movie on DVD or something. The entire place is airconditioned and furnished. There's a kitchen and fridge in case you guys wanna cook or make something. But please do bring sleeping bags and pillows and blankets and your soft toys and whatever you may need for a night. Inform your parents that you will be back home after lunch. You can invite your friends for sleepover. But dont force them to come if they're not comfortable joining us ok? :)

Will be getting a confirmation of your friends attendance tmr night so expect my call/sms ;)

Hey peeps! The exam fever is here huh.. Heard some of the papers were really tough and killer ones. Anyhoo, I hope (& pray!) you're still alive and well, surviving this lap :) Definitely keeping EACH and EVERYONE of YOU close in prayers. Draw from the strength of GOD and not men ya ;)

~ start thinking and brainstorming on what you wanna do cos we've been given the privilege to do whatever we want. So that means u can be as creative as possible. If u wanna go rock climbing then lets work towards it. If you wanna do paintball then lets talk about it and start planning it. Whatever it may be, we need to put plans into action (which I can assist u in doing) so start thinking ok? :)

Yup do remember to pray for me as I'll be sitting for my finals like reaaaallllll soon :) 1 paper this Sat and the other 2 next week.

As for Seng Loh, dont worry about what happened, but yes, please do keep him in prayers. Also do come along side him to encourage him. During this period support and encouragement is what he needs the most :)

• Seng Loh (Ask Christine what happened) - for God's grace and mercy
• Exams! (mid term) - That we'll ALL be PREPARED :), diligence, time management

• Friends from FCS - That they'll continue to come?
• yourselves! - Keep yourself in check n continue to walk with HIm daily, devo time *cough cough*

Mission Conf. & Quest!

Hey peeps, this week's XYZ is mission conference! :)

Want to really encourage you to sign up for it, as well as for the Mission Quest! Just in case you didnt know, Allan & Chi Yao put in a lot of effort for this mission quest and I'm telling you it's going to be really fun. You have to be in groups of 4 to join this mission quest, and the winner will of course get a prize! The conference of course would start on Fri night, then Sat morning, uptil 12pm.. Then the quest will commence at 12.30pm onwards. BECAUSE you guys are from XYZ, Pr Ling has specially allowed you all to sign up for it at the rate of only RM10!

However, I would need a response by Wed 3pm. Think about it, do consider it and let me know alright?

p/s: oh and if you've already agreed to be helper, dont worry, still can help out as well go for the conference ;)

Prep & Prayer for MAFIA!

MAFIA (FCS 1 theme) is coming to you on the 11th April 2009 (next Sat)! We're going to have lotsa of fun with playing mafia-ied games and not forgetting a great meal to feast on. :) So quickly start inviting your friends and book them on that Saturday! More details will be given this Saturday ya.

As for this Saturday's cg time.. We'll be preparing for MAFIA and will be spending time to pray for FCS 1. We will discuss together as a cg the activities and food we wanna have for MAFIA day. See you at 2pm, EHOP (lvl 2)!

CG weekend getaway! :)

We had a great weekend of...

1. watching slumdog millionaire
2. enjoying RM200 TGIF vouchers
3. cranium in Caryn's house
4. sleepover at Mag & Ming Ern's
5. a hike up to broga hill to watch the sunrise!
(had to start leaving PJ by 5am! >.<)

...rite? ;)

I still cannot believe some of you didnt sleep the entire night tho.. And could still be wide awake, hyper and alert for the hike up broga hill. Anyhoo, I had a really fun time! :) Enjoy the pics!

CG Retreat / Outing!

Hey guys, hope u're still alive and well after 3 days of hardcore exams :) Here's the confirm plans for our cg retreat this weekend ya. We're NOT going anywhere far or away. Doing everything in PJ or KL. Haha! So listen up and pay attention so that you'll know what to tell your parents ;)

On Sat meet in DC, room 106 at 1pm! We'll be watching Slumdog Millionaire. Dont worry we have speakers to enhance the sounds >P After movie we'll go for celebration (5pm), then we'll head to TGIF for dinner (to use our rm200 gift vouchers!). After dinner it's light and easy, we can do whatever we want, before we head to Mag & Ming Ern's place for sleepover! Yay! :)

Then on Sun early morning, Ben's gonna take us to this nice beautiful place where we will be watching the sunrise.. It's almost an hour's drive from PJ, and a short hike up. The view is gurunteed breathtaking and I can promise you that you wont regret it eventhough it means waking up a little earlier than usual :) After sunrise we'll head for breakfast and then you guys can officially go home after that.

So please let your parents know what's happening ok. Mag & Ming Ern (adults) will be with us for the sunrise and we're staying at their place. If you or your parents need more info or assurance, feel free to call Ah Ben or myself k. PLEASE do come for the retreat as it would b Ben Siew's last time with us before he moves on to take up cell leadership for another cg. It would be a great bonding, having fun time together. The cg needs it especially since it feels like we've not gone out together in ages! Will get your confirmation from u guys asap ya. Have fun with ur remaining exam pprs! :)

CG Retreat!

Guess where will our cg retreat be this time round?! :)


Well, given that you guys will be having exams, we've decided that doing a cg retreat away would cost lots of time. The advantages of a sleepover in DC?

- save accommodation cost (it's FREE!)
- save transportation cost (just get y0ur parents to send?! Duh!!)
- it'll only be a ONE night stay (instead of our usual 3 days 2 nights cg retreats)
- we'll have the place ALL to ourselves (well, almost all.. haha!)
- it is air conditioned (so pls bring blankets..)

But here's the thing... you've gotta lug your sleeping bags, pillows, bolsters and whatever you use to sleep at night all the way to DC >P We're gonna have lotsa of fun during retreat. There'll be movie time, sharing time, games & activity time! Here are the relevant details for your parents to know ya..

Date: 7th - 8th March (Sat - Sun)
Venue: Church, Dream Centre
Time: TBC (to be confirmed)

So quickly inform your parents and keep yourselves free that weekend ok?! :)
