Updates!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated recently. My connection has been kinda fuzzy. =)

Here are some really really important things that you and your friends need to know.

We are having this thing called 'Clusters' on 4th nov. There are 3 Clusters. Clusters are like a few cg's combining to one forming a Cluster. Why they're having this they have yet to tell us but mostly is coz it's easier and all.

Now, we're in Cluster 1 which means that we have to dress in a certain attire to different shade us from the other 2 clusters. We are supposed to be wearing DOUBLE LAYER and SHADES.

Please tell your friends this. Be creative and funky as the're be best dressed competitions. (only for your friends. Sorry! :D Yup!

This was announced last week during youth so those who did not come, now u know. Another thing you need to know is if you're friends get saved during the altar call, you are supposed to accompany them down and procede to the right (in front) for follow-up. They will be given a form which they have to fill. So technically, every inviter must be responsible for your friends as you have to explain to them if they have any questions.

If, however you don't understand anything of above, please ask Me (sara), Mark, or Jeremy when we call you guys for Forecasts. You can call Ben or Christine if you want direct info.

Yes, dearies. You read the post that Christine posted I hope. Our cg's faith target it 60. Soooooo, I've calculated. since we have about 20 something members, each member has to bring at least 3 members to reach the target. yes! So, please pray pray pray that your friends can come. This is seriously and event they should NOT miss at all! They're going to have a blast. Gurranteed! Yup! Look up! You only have like 4 days more. Get going people! :)

FCS3!!

wohooo! aren't you excited? =D Yes that's right! We're having a third FCS (Friendship Connection Saturday) and it's just around the corner! Hang it there coz here are the EXPLOSIVE information about it!

Dates: 4th November (Sunday), 10th November (Saturday)

Time: 5.30pm-9.30pm (4/11/07), 10am-4.30pm (10/11/07)

Venue: Dream Centre, Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC)

Isn't that cool? Now, I bet you guys are wondering, ' How come there are two dates there?' Well, wonder no more! =) The reason why FCS3 is held on two days is because we just have absolutely so much happening stuff that we just can't fit in into two days! Yes! =) They're still one event which is FCS3 but just that it's split up into two days.

Now listen up ya'll. This is what's going to happen on the 4th November 2007.
It is going to be a concert style right here in our very own Dream Centre! Yup! We're gonna have game stalls, booths like tattoos, hairspray, picture booth, grafiti wall and more! Our cg and BU cg will be mending the hairspray+tattoo booth. More updates on that later. And here's the one thing everyone loves,

It's total FREE! =)

Yes you go that right! FOC. (free of charge) Free food and drinks too! And when you're done filling up yourself silly with food and fun, we're gonna have a concert in our auditorium itself at 7.30pm. There's going to be dance performance from City Harvest Church KL, CHEER, competitions, worship, our very own XYZ dance team, JUWITA SUWITO and a short sermon for ya'll! oh and...maybe our very own Jaclyn Victor! but thats a maybe anyway...

That's just warming up.

On the 10th November, we're gonna have a follow-up of 4th November with....Amazing Race! in our church itself. It's going ot be totally fun and they're gonna be great games and prizes to be won! Aren't you guys feeling excited already?? =)

BUT there's just some important facts that you just HAVE to take note of:

1) Invitations are going to be given through SMS/E-MAIL. These will be your entry passes to enter. So, no sms/e-mail, then sorry dude! (kidding...just make sure u GET one) However, if you DON'T have an e-mail/hp, please let your friends/ leaders (Christine/Ben) know coz we have postcards for you! =)

2) Join the friendster group/facebook called 'Friendship Connection'. This is really important for updates, etc. Invite your friends to join!

3) Doorgifts! Each cg has to think of something. So get ready your creative thinking caps ya'll coz we gotta chip in some ideas!

It's been long since I've leave something here.

Hopefully by end of my this current semester (somewhere in mid-January), I will upgrade this blog to the new XML template that Blogger now uses. This will allow better and easier layout customization...

FCS Craze

Heya fellas! It's been Almost one week since I blogged. How have you guys been doing, eh? =) Yes, yes school is as boring as hell. But hey, we have something exciting to look forward to, yeah? ;)

I hope you guys have already started inviting your friends. Coz in case you didn't realize, it's 12 more days to 4th November! Not much time people! So getcha butt moving! =)

For those of you who have already invited some friends, don't stop! Keep going! =)) Remember, you want to see as many people as possible coming right?

Intro of DM & his koncohs...

Hey the best people in town!

It's been pretty quiet cos of the exams, assignments (which mainly applies to Ben & I), busy busy busy.. =)

Anyhoo, there was some questions about the DBS team, and who's the Disciplinary Master (better known as DM) and his koncohs-koncohs. Heh. So here's a formal introduction of them. Are you ready??? Here goes... *drum rolls*

So you would notice that they've been coming to cg early, setting up the place, etc... just so that you guys will have the best environment for cg! Also be on the lookout for them cos if they catch anyone of you breaking DBS ground rules, you will personally get a... "something" from them. Nyeh nyeh nyeh. So dress smartly, be on time ALWAYS and guys, practice MANHOOD! =D

Hey peeps!

Last Sunday was superb with the new building and all. But the most amazing thing was being able to worship together with 4000 plus over people. Yup, you got that right!! We had almost twice the number of congregation. If you missed last Sunday, you really missed a great service man. N you didn't get to see me go up on stage!!!! Ahaha... Nah just joking... I wasn't doing much also. =)

Niway, this Sat is back to DBS - Christian Lifestyle. We're meeting in Dream Centre (DC) already so please don't go bck to DSP ya. SMDJ CG now meets at Room 113. It's a nice cozy room just nice for the size of our cg. DBS will start at 2.30pm sharp.

As for my dear disciplinary master and his precious team of people, you guys need to be at DC by 1.30pm sharp for set up and preparation ya.

Breaking the silence...

Hey guys...

It's been a long time of not blogging. Hope you're all enjoying the holidays. =)

To the form 3's and form 5's, have fun mugging the books for your remaining papers!

21 days of fast & prayer is still on. Some of us have been attending morning prayer at 5.30am. It has been a great time of seeking God's face. Wanna encourage you all to come. It's a time where God really speaks. Personally, I've been going through a lot of 'heart surgeries'. Those who goes would know what I mean. ;)

Enjoy the remaining of your holidays! Be good... =p

The burger & satay day has ended and I didn't get to eat at all!!!! *sob, sob* Haha... Ya, I was busy running around. ;) Niway, to those who missed it, u really missed a great time of fun & fellowship.

A congratulations to SARA PANG & LEE XUE LI for being the top 2 youth in SMDJ who brought the most friends for FCS 2. They received a prize each. Remember to go claim them from Malvin next week ya! =)

To all form 3's and form 5's, study hard. Don't worry cos the cg will be keeping you close in prayers ya. All d best for trials! U d best, u can do it! =)

It's ok...

Hey guys...

I've been hearing "friends cannot come... how?" for some reason or another. Just want you to know it's ok! =) However, that does not mean we don't pray or try. Continue to pray, continue to try asking+inviting, especially those whom you've not invited yet ya.

In the mean time, also pray for this Saturday's event. It's gonna be a blast! The leaders will be in church by 9am to decorate, book seats for you guys and also spend some time committing the event to the Lord. So as we're very much excited for it, praying YOU too will be enthusiastic about it! Don't give up, let's press on!! =)

Btw, a team of 21 people from CHC Singapore will be with us on that very special day. In fact, they'll leading us into a time of praise & worship. So let's get ready for an awesome time! U d best, u can do it!! =)

Yup, you guys made FCS 2 the most happening event in town! =D

You guys should be proud of yourself... A few of your friends came up to me and said they really enjoyed themselves and would definitely come back! So you know what that means?!?! Each and every one of you were a GREAT blessing to them... Remember you guys invested your time, $, and every effort into this. So let's believe that the seed of love has been planted and in God's perfect timing, it will grow a beautiful tree. =)

Let's also remember to thank GOD for wonderful weather, NO injuries during the outdoor games (other CG's had a ppl going to clinic n etc...), sufficient food and a great time of games & fellowship! All glory goes to our Heavenly Father, amen?!

2 more days!!

It's down to 2 more days! Let's begin to pray, intercede & prepare our hearts for this blessing event. I just got news that one of Wei En's oikos last minute won't be able to join us for FCS 2 bcos of a passing away of grandma. The evil one will do anything to stop you all from bringing in the harvest. But our almighty GOD is for us, therefore who can be against us, amen?!

So let's unite in hearts, mind and spirit, expecting a funtastic time this coming Saturday! Pray for:-

1. Good weather - so that the outdoor games can be conducted.
2. Good fellowship - open sharing and connecting of hearts & spirit among each other.
3. Good sportmanship - fun time of playing, no injuries/arguments, fair playing.
4. Good response - that your friends will enjoy themselves & be blessed to the full!

Yes, we're only at 3 more days to FCS 2! It's getting closer and reaching faster... Just to wet your appetite a bit, here's the menu for the night. ;)

More on....WE HAD FUN

The much awaited jungle trekking finally became a reality last Sunday. Ten of us, Jeremy, Ming Ern, Jing Lin, Christine, Pei Wern, Mark Ng, Seng Loh, Sara, Ben and myself met at 8am at SMKJ DJ. Too bad so many of you could not join us...I nearly couldn't go myself. After breakfast, we headed straight to Hutan Lipur Kanching.

Being as adventurous as we are, we took the more challenging trail. It was sloppy and slippery. We reached a pit stop where there is a waterfall but we were not satisfied with it. We wanted to trek further up to find the highest waterfall because Pei Wern described it so interestingly and excite all of us. Thus, Ben and his 3 heroes (leave it to you to guess) left us to explore the trail to the top and did not return for a long time. We waited impatiently and decided to go ahead on our own. Unfortunately, we were confused as to which path Ben took and decided to return where we came from. While waiting for Ben and his company, we took our poser pictures. We also could not resist the tempting cool and clear water calling to us so we decided not to wait but to play in the water. Jing Lin almost died but 'resurrected' with Ben's help. I leave Ben to tell you the details of his heroic act.

The most terrifying experience that still gives me shudders were the so many leeches that got on to our legs and one even got on Ben's stomach. They were all over on the rocks beside the waterfall. We were like 'living sacrifices' to these eerie and gross wriggly things. We screamed and screamed while scrambling to put salt on them. I can laugh now remembering how Pei Wern was jumping all around, flipping and flapping trying to flick those leeches off....but somehow, she was still beaten by 4, Ben 3, Sara 1, me 1, Seng Loh 1, Ming Ern 2.... what about you Mark, Jeremy, Christine and Jing Lin?

Thanks Sara for passing me those plastic bags in school today...my mum almost fainted when she opened them...the wet shirts and socks stink like they just got dug out from the longkang...and they are not mine! My mum washed them all and the owners please claim from Bernice Launderette this Saturday...=)

Yeah....we had so much fun!
