Instead of counting 2.0, 3.0, 4.0...(which will eventually be confused after a while), I've decided to post it as admin with date.

Sorry for the template delays.

For those who are familiar with Blogger's new (well, it's not SO new now) template works, well, good for you. This new template is simpler to adjust and easier to maintain.

I will be retiring from this team soon, so someone in the cell group will have to take over the reins of redesigning. (This sounds cliche...I remember saying this before, no?) Now that the design is simpler with all the help that Blogger is giving you, it'll definitely be easier. Just need MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop or even GIMP!

We're having ZC!

A Brazillian team of 16 people will

be coming to perform and have testimonies. They're really good in dances and peformance arts. So do come this Sat!

Rule Ten:Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy near Hanoi . When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway you should exit the car with both hands in plain sight. Speak the perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought my daughter home safely and early then return to your car - there is no need for you to come inside. Hey peeps, LOUD! 2008 is coming up! =)

You were given the cute tiny flyers. Remember to write friends name and note inside (so that is would be more personal..) and pass it to them ASAP! If you've not gotten the cute tiny flyers, please ask Sara Pang for them cos she has tons of them. =P

Ok.. I also need all of YOU to do this for me... I need your oikos/friends names. Basically, think of who you want to call/invite/bug/force?(hehe..) to come for LOUD! 2008. Please email me (onglingai@yahoo.com) & Ben (ben.siew@gmail.com) the names of your oikos/friends. Also include their email address & hp numbers. You are not limited to the number of friends you can invite so just feel free to email me 100 names if you want. But just make sure the 100 names are also complete with their email add & hp number. ;)

I need this info latest by this Thurs (18/09/08), midnight. So you have exactly 3 full days to do this. You know your friends, you should have their contacts so I know this won't be so difficult for you. However, if you have not invited them but do want to, just include their names in too ya. =)

Last but not least, let's start praying hard!! I know the barrier of exams are already surfacing. But with God, nothing is impossible, amen? So if you want to see your friends have a great, fun & exciting time in LOUD! 2008, let's start praying for open doors, for opportunities, for favor from parents, for boldness & the right words to say to them. SO, you guys gotta start researching stuff about her! Make sure you guys know at least briefly WHO she is, WHAT she does and at least a rough background so that you won't be lost during the rest of the month.

In case some of you have forgotten, here are your 'duties' :

• Background (historical background of the person, period in which she lived) - Jeremy
• Context (general social & economical condition at that time, state of the church and spiritual condition at that time) - Gabriel, Jia yi
• Acts of faith (what did she do, how did she act out in faith, at least one eg of act of faith) - Mark C, Xue Li, Ai lee
• Impact of faith (how did she impact her own generation, How did she impact you/us) - Wei-en, Sara
• Mulitmedia Presentation (3-5 mins, summary of above, background music)- Mark Ng, Julian

What's up, up, up this week??

Hey hey peepz!

It's been ages since I've last blogged here!

Yeah, yeah the blog is dying. But we shall revive it! *hehe*

Alright so, guess what? We're going to embark on a brand new journey for the next month!

We're not going to have the normal worship, word, read bible sessions in cg.

Nope. :) We're going to be doing a series called...

MEN AND WOMEN OF FAITH!

No, it is not boring..seriously. Just read on a lil' more..

Each cell group is given a person (man/woman) of faith that we have to research on and present a sorta like srcapbook as the end result.

So eg we're given Mel Gibson (EXAMPLE), so we research on

his biography, what are the things he did, why was he so and so,

and it goes on.

At the end of it, we need to have a scrapbook of 20 pages and a media

presentation (3-5 min) as a summary of the entire project.

Aren't you just interested already? ;)

There's more!

They have PRIZES for the top three groups as well as consolation prizes!

AND,

at the end of it all, they're going to compile every cg's srcapbook into one book

to produce...*drum rolls*

our very own copy for each and every one of us!

(Christine said) If every cg's one is good, we might even sell the book!

Cool, right? ;))

ALL of us are going to be part of this exciting project!

(yeah I'm supposed to hype you guys up)

OKAY! A brief summary of what the outing is.

Gonna play water balloons + charades in a park somewhr near ben's place.
