What's up, up, up this week??

Hey hey peepz!

It's been ages since I've last blogged here!

Yeah, yeah the blog is dying. But we shall revive it! *hehe*

Alright so, guess what? We're going to embark on a brand new journey for the next month!

We're not going to have the normal worship, word, read bible sessions in cg.

Nope. :) We're going to be doing a series called...

MEN AND WOMEN OF FAITH!

No, it is not boring..seriously. Just read on a lil' more..

Each cell group is given a person (man/woman) of faith that we have to research on and present a sorta like srcapbook as the end result.

So eg we're given Mel Gibson (EXAMPLE), so we research on

his biography, what are the things he did, why was he so and so,

and it goes on.

At the end of it, we need to have a scrapbook of 20 pages and a media

presentation (3-5 min) as a summary of the entire project.

Aren't you just interested already? ;)

There's more!

They have PRIZES for the top three groups as well as consolation prizes!

AND,

at the end of it all, they're going to compile every cg's srcapbook into one book

to produce...*drum rolls*

our very own copy for each and every one of us!

1stly, my apologies for leaving ZC halfway last weekend. Thanks for those who have been praying for me. I'm definitely much better now. Being sick for so long is a really sucky thing. Never wanna experience it again. ;)

Niway, please take note that on 1st March 08, XYZ is not the usual ZC or CG. Instead, we're having a missions conference with Irwin Rutherford. He's a great speaker with a great big heart for people. Particularly young people like you and me! =) So let's all sign up together cos it'll be 1 great moment we wouldn't wanna miss. Below are the details...

Wow, super red saturday pictures are quite nice! =)
Too bad I had to leave early... But I've no regrets cos SWITCHFOOT was just simply AWESOME!! Even if I had to stand a whole 3 hours, tahan d songs from our *ahem* *cough* local band or get squashed in d sea of soooooooo many ppl, it was all worth it.. =D =D =D =D

Btw, since we have a blog and my lovely cg members are actually posting stuff on it *wink*, we should all start taking more random pictures. yo peepz! kinda been a while right since my last post~ alrite! juz a prayer item.. muahaha! yeap, and that's me! and u peepz know... SPM result coming out la... cough* goodness so scary la! this isn't like pmr k, it's a little bit significant then it... but still Spm is nothing real big, seriously.. just ask CHristine and the seniors.. haha! well just basically good results for the post form 5s la! well i'm kinda aiming for 10As la... not for my chinese well.. Chinese can get c5 i fly edi lor! that happy*

well and other stufs as well, i have been planing to do either aircraft maintenance engineer or architecture or civil... these three areas la.. done lotz of research but just hopefully it can help me in the end... gonna apply like 6 scholarships there.. and entrance to MAS too.. ok too much to say about this la! but well, most importantly! pray that let God's will be done la.. i might end up doin bible studies.. who knows?

and another word of advise... cough* cough* Christine pls dun kill me for wat im gonna write... haha! not about u.. but you students of Djians there.. I memang know studying is VERY important la.. but from wat i experience... im sure the rest also* Djians academic level is kinda high.. seriously... remembering my trial exam and spm.. i could say our school trial exam is twice as hard from spm~ im not saying u shouldnt study or blablabla... but bein average in our school is not that bad edi la internationally~ and about kokurikulum, no doubt~! it's not the matter about certificates or marks.. but experience wise, u need it! and there's a final thing to say... so wat if my result super chunted and kokurikulum no says edi.. well, go study another Language! it helps, no doubts!if you dun try to take up one now, when do u have the time? like myself, im planning to learn japanese.. but just dunno when will start.. this idea would really help in the future though...

so, as this blog hasn't been updated with the norm cg life, I shall post the pics i have from the Super Red Saturday which was last week!

abit the small the photo's. but it's okay right? :) these are from my phone..the other is abit blur though.

ahhh..

so for those of you who don't know, I joined interclass debate yet again. For the first round, we were against batai which was keefe, jassendra, and kelvin. And let me tell you, I was pretty uncertain we'd win. I had faith of course but hey, those are slightly more experienced debaters than I was. Plus I was aiming for best speaker..

With a beating heart, (not quite..but oh well :P) I entered our classroom. My fellow teammates were Jo yi and Tze Lin. Also slightly more experienced debaters. It ended up with my team winning that round and, I got best speaker! =D

hehe I'm really thankful God helped me. It was like a proof to others and myself that no matter how experienced/inexperienced you are, you can still achieve great things.

so we entered the semi-final round (we were supposed to be exempted from the next round but another team pulled out so we had to replace them) and were against jati. Again, I didn't want to underestimate them eventhough most ppl did. I aimed for best speaker again and...I got it! =)

hehe..so now its on to the finals which is on the 18 February if I'm not mistaken. And I pray that for this round, I'll do my 110% and get best speaker again! I think you guys would be able to watch it since its during school hours in the hall...just don't laugh at me :P

So yeah that my short testi of how God helped me and prooved to me that I can do it! No matter who or what obstacles there might be. With a right attitude and a willing heart you sure can! :)

How Ikea Has Changed me~

Alrite! this post is about how ikea has motivated me blablabla... and the birth of several attitudes in me! yea and such a lame postnya~ alrite read!

1. More Imaginative~ yesh,this is not wat i expected.. but it's like there's an uncle today came over my counter and asked..."hello sir,but yesterday i saw this a triangular shape display thingy in around here,where do i proceed blablabla" i go =.=" expect me to scan through all the 1000+ ikea items just like this ar? at LEAST tell me the price la! and come to bedroom section to ask displap thingy pulak! and yeap, i squeezed my mind to imagine wat he is trying to say but at last i just push him to the markethall la!
   
2. More Fat~yea, i expected myself to loss some weight akibat stress thingy, but i gained weight instead! why? yesh, because Ikea food so cheap!! waaa!! the currypuff,swedish cake and meatball!!! cant wait for break everytime!makan makan makan~
   
3. Look out for more Lengluis x)~ yea, ikea's lengluis aren't the workers, but no doubt that you will see customers of all races etc... like today,saw bangladesh,spanish,korean,europeans blablabla... and some of them mix types even chunted! oh ya and some aunties also ask me how old am i blablabla... then they say,'cool if my daughter wanna work here can?' lol swt case~
   
4. Salute IT inventors~yea,IT stuf.. ikea's IT system is really cool.. i know i'm noob in this... but it's so complicated la.. till i can see how much ikea has earned anytime, every second! and yap normally durin weekend.. my bedroom department alone can earn around 800k, that surprises me anyways! and imagine the whole ikea store then? should be around 3 mil per day? yea around there la! and my pay is like wat! =.=" and yeap, i can check all the item stock anytime, delivery date blablabla~
   
5. Professional in house keeping~yea im workin in the bedroom department, and everytime after ikea closes, the coworkers like me gotta tidy up the store la.. and so.. in my department, which is the bedroom, the most stuff to do la! there are like dunno how many beds there waiting for you to adjust here and there... and yea, not ashamed to say a little pro edi la in folding quilt ,mattress pads etc.. lol.. and yea durin ur work,when u got so tired, u get so tempted wanna lie down on the bed!!! x) so it's like i stand there helplessly, so tired!
   
6. Obey Rules?~alrite this is the torturin part,durin your work,you cant show your hp, even just seeing sms etc.. just cant see u holding ur hp in ur hands! or not rm5 denda! then if u dun wear your name badge, denda rm1~ then if u print wrong info for customer? rm50! wow!~ scarynia~
   
7. Listen to Malay Song and be pro in speakin Malay Accent~yea! almost all ikea workers are malays.. so yea i communicate with them real lotz la~ and share music blablabla... then i learn the accent of their language.. no doubt, Ikea is really the clash of all races, around the world i mean..simply because ikea is an international store la!

Yea, so tat's basically How Ikea changed me? ahhaha but will quit around end of February i think... because just can't wait to serve in XYZ and all.. Praise God for this opportunity, to serve in my home~ and erm... because Scholarships will be starting to appear then... Anyways, wil continue blogging! am i still allowed to be in here anyways? Heartz u ppl!!!

My First Piece~

I'm not a good singer, but i believe my guitar skills so far has allowed me to start composing songs and writing songs~ i know i'm slow in writing songs though, but tell u wat, songs, they can just be created overnight, but it really needs inspiration and creativity to do so. like the friends for life i wrote, it's in an hour before i got to school to present~ it's because i have so much to express, and i think that's the way to do it! i always like going in the middle of a field, just so wide and it actually enables u to think ur past, ur lessons, and ur feelings so deep like never before.. i'm a person who analyst my past anyways... that's the way i am!

If u dunno, the first song i wrote Friends for life, it's actually with the help from juwita suwito album.. the lyrics is jsut so creative la..and erm so for now, i'm targetting to complete my first album, obivously, i'm not going to be like singers outside there selling their albums, but recording it by my own... so i will name the album Gene's Definition.. yea sound weird cause there's my name... but if u see the real meaning of it... it says Life's definition perhaps? and this album i thought of putting three themes... mainly...

Not really a big plan!! ... but cool~ when cineleisure today and saw like around more than ten people i recognize? haha.. blur me,i was waiting for the ikano bus today.. thought it will come around ten... yesh~ ten! but when i reach there, the bus gone edi... so i was like thinking the next bus will reach by 10.30 but didn't notice the bus would be coming at 11.30 x) ahahha so i wait stupidly there... but anyways... yea saw zwee ho and gabryel... greatz... i dunno why i always see them around.. and not them individually.. just them always together? ahhaha... anyways.. then i saw May Ee waiting for like someone at 7-11. thought of greeting her but she seemed to kinda worrying about something else... and anyways... i sat taxi go ikano at last... sigh it killed me rm8.. alrite la the price... then met up with Racheal and Karlynn, too bad bianca didnt make it... no transport pulak... well but i had fun time with them anyways.. and i think i spoke too much all the way.. haha~ and yea we watched I Am Legend... i'm not a movie goer so i can't say much about judging this movie but it's irrefutable awesome~ i'll give it 9/10.. everything is almost perfect, just that the movie is kinda... lonely? ahhaha very few characters.. but definitely, will smith rocks~ ahha! and yea one really surprising thing... the seats we book,i didnt notice i actually booked a sit that was beside Mark Chris and some his friends.. all XYZ people one row.. haha.... oh my goodness! so coinciddence! Sumore he's like saying he's busy that day and can't join us but end up sitting beside me! =.=" cool dude!~ and after the movie, saw Dawn and her grc friends... i guess? yeap... and then Rachael gonna ciaoz earlier so i brought Karlynn to Ikea.. ahahha kasihan her pulak... force her to voice her creativity box.. haha! and yea i saw eng teck working there... chasier pulak.. memang his type... and yea i'm applying for job in ikea!! but not cashier la... it's more to designing.. background job.. yea... and well! so basically today is like meeting up with so many people... hahah! will be going singapore this friday night.. and don't know when will come back! stay tune! will blog about it!~ Merry Christmas!!

i dunno wat to write though, but juz let watever that is from my heart to flow out~
first of all, angel and mortal!! my mortal is Ai Lee! goodness!

and not to mention again, jeremy was my last year mortal...
and yea, two ppl from my cg for bein my mortals... kinda sad right.. haha!

at all sessions and time.. one thing i see different for our youth worship team is that,

i was thinking wat would happen if i went for the audition this year...regretnya~
ahahah and i'm glad for my cg!! wow!! look at us!!
we dominate the back area! haha! isn't it awesome! so much free space to jump around!

one other different thing i did this year was doing banner..
before packing my stufs before camp, then i saw a yellow and some black banner left over..
from everlasting cf camp 2007! then from wat i didnt expect...
i thought of doing it for my mortal initially, then mana tau.. i end up doing banners for all ppl!
ahahha i think i did like more than ten edi i guess...
still remember everyone in my dorm saw the first one i did and asked me to do more..
so i assume that's why ailee knows who her angel is la... hahaa lousy me..
and well i thought of doing it for my cg members also anyways~
but sory no time! i was like thinking it will be different if we swing it durin praise..

jokes make us feel like close to him.. yea that feeling la.. and so when it comes to the word of God,
it's like u can remember it more vividly la... even though the sermons don't cover as much words as last camp,
but no doubt that the spiritual impact is more awesome! his testimony is a part of the word!
He is truly a man of God!~ wat i heard from God that night during camp...

SPM second day~

phew*... alrite!! why did i study how much? aha!~ shouldn't study at all actually..

what i studied didnt come out...lol.. there were some spotted questions la..

lol! i write so many answers but when everything ends and go back check my book pulak!

wrong like erm half of my answers? hahhaa so to convince myself, i 'estimated' my marks and think can get A la..

Prayer rocks!~ few days again i dreamt that the first day of SPM i prayed wit some cf leaders.. juz one or two.. but as i drift along wit my dream, i dreamt that more and more people join the circle of prayer before every exam! i mean im tryin to gather ppl now hoping that is not juz a dream!

FCS 3 : LOUD! Concert

Yes! Yes! The countdown has started with only 3 more days to LOUD! concert!!! :)

Updates!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated recently. My connection has been kinda fuzzy. =)

Here are some really really important things that you and your friends need to know.

We are having this thing called 'Clusters' on 4th nov. There are 3 Clusters. Clusters are like a few cg's combining to one forming a Cluster. Why they're having this they have yet to tell us but mostly is coz it's easier and all.

Now, we're in Cluster 1 which means that we have to dress in a certain attire to different shade us from the other 2 clusters. We are supposed to be wearing DOUBLE LAYER and SHADES.

Please tell your friends this. Be creative and funky as the're be best dressed competitions. (only for your friends. Sorry! :D Yup!

This was announced last week during youth so those who did not come, now u know. Another thing you need to know is if you're friends get saved during the altar call, you are supposed to accompany them down and procede to the right (in front) for follow-up. They will be given a form which they have to fill. So technically, every inviter must be responsible for your friends as you have to explain to them if they have any questions.

If, however you don't understand anything of above, please ask Me (sara), Mark, or Jeremy when we call you guys for Forecasts. You can call Ben or Christine if you want direct info.

Yes, dearies. You read the post that Christine posted I hope. Our cg's faith target it 60. Soooooo, I've calculated. since we have about 20 something members, each member has to bring at least 3 members to reach the target. yes! So, please pray pray pray that your friends can come. This is seriously and event they should NOT miss at all! They're going to have a blast. Gurranteed! Yup! Look up! You only have like 4 days more. Get going people! :)

FCS3!!

wohooo! aren't you excited? =D Yes that's right! We're having a third FCS (Friendship Connection Saturday) and it's just around the corner! Hang it there coz here are the EXPLOSIVE information about it!

Dates: 4th November (Sunday), 10th November (Saturday)

Time: 5.30pm-9.30pm (4/11/07), 10am-4.30pm (10/11/07)

Venue: Dream Centre, Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC)

Isn't that cool? Now, I bet you guys are wondering, ' How come there are two dates there?' Well, wonder no more! =) The reason why FCS3 is held on two days is because we just have absolutely so much happening stuff that we just can't fit in into two days! Yes! =) They're still one event which is FCS3 but just that it's split up into two days.

Now listen up ya'll. This is what's going to happen on the 4th November 2007.
It is going to be a concert style right here in our very own Dream Centre! Yup! We're gonna have game stalls, booths like tattoos, hairspray, picture booth, grafiti wall and more! Our cg and BU cg will be mending the hairspray+tattoo booth. More updates on that later. And here's the one thing everyone loves,

It's total FREE! =)

Yes you go that right! FOC. (free of charge) Free food and drinks too! And when you're done filling up yourself silly with food and fun, we're gonna have a concert in our auditorium itself at 7.30pm. There's going to be dance performance from City Harvest Church KL, CHEER, competitions, worship, our very own XYZ dance team, JUWITA SUWITO and a short sermon for ya'll! oh and...maybe our very own Jaclyn Victor! but thats a maybe anyway...

That's just warming up.

On the 10th November, we're gonna have a follow-up of 4th November with....Amazing Race! in our church itself. It's going ot be totally fun and they're gonna be great games and prizes to be won! Aren't you guys feeling excited already?? =)

BUT there's just some important facts that you just HAVE to take note of:

1) Invitations are going to be given through SMS/E-MAIL. These will be your entry passes to enter. So, no sms/e-mail, then sorry dude! (kidding...just make sure u GET one) However, if you DON'T have an e-mail/hp, please let your friends/ leaders (Christine/Ben) know coz we have postcards for you! =)

2) Join the friendster group/facebook called 'Friendship Connection'. This is really important for updates, etc. Invite your friends to join!

3) Doorgifts! Each cg has to think of something. So get ready your creative thinking caps ya'll coz we gotta chip in some ideas!

It's been pretty quiet cos of the exams, assignments (which mainly applies to Ben & I), busy busy busy.. =)

Hey peeps!

Last Sunday was superb with the new building and all. But the most amazing thing was being able to worship together with 4000 plus over people. Yup, you got that right!! We had almost twice the number of congregation. If you missed last Sunday, you really missed a great service man. N you didn't get to see me go up on stage!!!! Ahaha... Nah just joking... I wasn't doing much also. =)

Niway, this Sat is back to DBS - Christian Lifestyle. We're meeting in Dream Centre (DC) already so please don't go bck to DSP ya. SMDJ CG now meets at Room 113. It's a nice cozy room just nice for the size of our cg. DBS will start at 2.30pm sharp.

As for my dear disciplinary master and his precious team of people, you guys need to be at DC by 1.30pm sharp for set up and preparation ya.

Breaking the silence...

It's been a long time of not blogging. Hope you're all enjoying the holidays. =)

To the form 3's and form 5's, have fun mugging the books for your remaining papers!

21 days of fast & prayer is still on. Some of us have been attending morning prayer at 5.30am. It has been a great time of seeking God's face. Wanna encourage you all to come. It's a time where God really speaks. Personally, I've been going through a lot of 'heart surgeries'. Those who goes would know what I mean. ;)

It's ok...

Hey guys...

I've been hearing "friends cannot come... how?" for some reason or another. Just want you to know it's ok! =) However, that does not mean we don't pray or try. Continue to pray, continue to try asking+inviting, especially those whom you've not invited yet ya.

In the mean time, also pray for this Saturday's event. It's gonna be a blast! The leaders will be in church by 9am to decorate, book seats for you guys and also spend some time committing the event to the Lord. So as we're very much excited for it, praying YOU too will be enthusiastic about it! Don't give up, let's press on!! =)

Btw, a team of 21 people from CHC Singapore will be with us on that very special day. In fact, they'll leading us into a time of praise & worship. So let's get ready for an awesome time! U d best, u can do it!! =)
